In the vibrant heart of Palermo, within the historic walls of Palazzo Sant’Elia, the exhibition Pinakothek\u2019a<\/em> has been extended until July 20, 2025, captivating contemporary art lovers. Curated by art historians Sergio Troisi and Alessandro Pinto, the exhibition presents about two hundred works selected from the prestigious Elenk\u2019Art collection, offering a journey through the 20th century up to the present day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition provides a chronological path, starting with works from the period between the two World Wars, featuring masters like Cagnaccio di San Pietro, Donghi, and de Chirico. It then moves on to Italian abstraction, represented by artists such as Accardi and Consagra. The show also includes masterpieces of European informal art, with names like Hartung and Mathieu, as well as works from the 1960s and 70s experimentation, including pieces by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Pascali, and Rotella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
