Enjoy an umbeatable view of Palermo from the top, with its rooftops, Mount Pellegrino and Castello Utveggio and Rutelli’s quadriga on the Politeama Theatre, while exploring with all five senses Osservatorio’s cuisine, with a unique menu with matching wines.
Chef Ivan Spitaleri has prepared two special menus for this occasion.
Fish Menu
- amouse bouche
- Mazara red prawn and artichoke in tempura with citruis mayonnaise
- mullet beccafico-style (mullet fillet baked palermo-style with citrus sauce)
- pacchero with fish ragout, wild fennel and sea urchin foam
- amberjack and almonds (amberjack fillet baked with almonds and fennel cream)
- seasonal fruit
- pomegranate tartlet
- panettone minipie with vanilla mousse
Meat Menu
- amouse bouche
- heifer tartare served carob-flavoured and Madonie crispy raw ham
- vegetable balls with beetroot gazpacho
- fettuccine cu maccu – with broad beans puree, Ragusano cheese fondue and crunchy Nero cheek
- veal cheek stweed in red wine served in its gravy with grated celeriac puree
- seasonal fruit
- ricotta cheese hemisphere with a chestnut heart and cannolo shell crumble
- panettone minipie with vanilla mousse
